A new peelable material has just been released: DUOPEEL®.
is a peel-off material, designed and patented Yann Gastel. This bilaminate composite material allows the different hand peelable layers to be easily differentiated. One of the two materials has received a very thin covering layer of aluminum giving it a metallic appearance.
This makes it easy to identify the different peelable parts of your finished product. You can peel the appropriate side off to obtain the desired shim thickness.
Among the benefits that DUOPEEL offers, include: easy identification of the different peelable parts, lightness, adaptable to curved shapes, ease and speed of use, usage safety, economy (reusable peeled sheets as cushioning elements), good physical, mechanical and thermal characteristics.

LAMECO, partnering up with MASH
We are happy to be one of the sponsors of the MASH project, the brainchild of students from the Bordeaux-Talence Engineering School.
The goal of this project is to design a working prototype vehicle (affectionately nicknamed 'Bidouille' (the trick), which uses the least as possible fuel.
In 2008, the Bidouille succeeded in driving 2.221 km on a single liter of gasoline. The race was held at Rockingham in England, and Bidouille was placed third.

LAMECO has left the industrial park of Buc, and moved to our own purpose-built factory in Trappes, just outside Paris.

X.FIBER®: The High-Resistance Composite Laminated Shims.
This new laminated material is totallyrevolutionary.
We called it "X.FIBER"® as it comes in the form of bonded woven fiber sheets and the stack can comprise as many as you require.
It allows the production of highly resistant composite laminated shims. The toughness of those laminated shims is equal to conventional metallic laminated shims!
